Scandium sulfate is the crystalline form of the scandium salt of sulfuric acid with the chemical formula Sc2(SO4)3*5H2O. It is moderately water and acid soluble and dissociates into its constituent ions in aqueous solutions. It is also hygroscopic and may absorb moisture from the air. American Elements manufactures scandium sulfate to many standard grades when applicable, including Mil Spec (military grade), ACS, Reagent and Technical Grade, Food, Agricultural and Pharmaceutical Grade, USP and EP/BP (European Pharmacopoeia/British Pharmacopoeia). Other grades are available upon request.
