KH-550 γ-aminopropyltriethoxysilane of LYRIN
LYRIN production KH-550 γ-aminopropyltriethoxysilane is an amino-functional silane with a basic nature. It has strong versatility and is soluble in organic solvents, but acetone and carbon tetrachloride are not suitable as diluents. It is soluble in water and undergoes hydrolysis in water.
Main purposes:
1. It is an excellent glass fiber treatment agent, enhancing the mechanical strength, electrical properties, and anti-aging performance of composite materials. In the production of fiberglass wool and mineral wool, it can be added to phenolic resin binders to improve moisture resistance and increase compression resilience. This product can also be used in the synthesis of amino silicone oil and its lotion;
2. When applied to thermoplastic and thermosetting resins such as phenolic, polyester, epoxy, PBT, polyamide, and carbonate used for mineral filling, it can significantly enhance and improve the physical and mechanical properties of plastics, including flexural strength, compressive strength, shear strength, and electrical properties in wet state, both in dry and wet conditions. Additionally, it improves the wettability and dispersibility of fillers in polymers;
3. It is an excellent adhesion promoter, suitable for use in polyurethane, epoxy, nitrile, phenolic adhesives, and sealing materials. It can improve the dispersibility of pigments and enhance the adhesion to glass, aluminum, and iron metals. It is also applicable to polyurethane, epoxy, and acrylic latex coatings;
4. In grinding wheel manufacturing, it helps improve the phenolic resin bonding property and water resistance of wear-resistant self-hardening sand.
